About partnership
The South Bank and Waterloo Partnership coordinates efforts to transform this area, in particular its public realm, environment and the facilities available, and has been at the forefront of exciting development, positive transformation and meaningful change for London’s cultural heart since 1995. Chaired by the local MPs for Vauxhall, and Bermondsey and Old Southwark, the Partnership is a collaboration between local authorities, statutory agencies and community representatives, businesses, cultural and educational organisations. These groups work together to align their individual plans, secure investment and set a collective framework to ensure that opportunities are managed and delivered for the benefit of all those who live, work, study and visit the area.
